This was the second of three projects we successfully completed for Anthropologie consisting of a complete strip-out and refurbishment of an historic Grade 2 listed building situated in the prominent location of Market Place, Kingston-upon-Thames.
The project involved works to the basement, three floors and the roof including asbestos removals; strip-out of existing walls to ground and first floors; landlord building works; decorations throughout and the manufacture and installation of joinery items which comprised of the cash desk; bespoke fitting room doors; a customer facing beauty sink area, Oak-cladding detail and floating walls.
The project also included some interesting and unique paint and plaster finishes with coloured pigment, applied by hand giving the store it’s distinctive and special feel.
The Anthropologie stores are often challenging, this one especially due to the nature of the building, it’s size and amount of work undertaken, but they are always rewarding. During this and the other projects we have built a strong and positive relationship with both AMD and Anthropologie, and very much look forward to working with them again in the future.
