This was the first store Garenne successfully completed for Anthropologie, which had its own unique challenges. Its prominent corner location in the city of Belfast meant we had to coordinate logistics from the mainland for delivery of many bespoke features required for the store fit out. These included Steel glazed Crittal frames to create an Art Room and form the Fitting Room area, Blackened steel display systems and a 5 metre long handmade cash desk with a polished plaster front panel. Many of our core materials and also sub-contractors were sourced locally to cut down our carbon footprint for this project.
The precast cladding, which adorned the building, required alterations to accept the client’s signage on two facades, which was coordinated by our team with the developer's Artisan stone specialist.
Other works included the installation of a new screeded floor base. Full MEP package, fire alarm, audio and security systems, new partitions and wall linings with various finishes including polished plaster. We also installed new Oak flooring with ornate tiles sections to compliment the Art Room and Fitting Room areas.
As always this project presented its own unique challenges, but was rewarding and the overall finish looked amazing; this project led to
a lasting relationship with the client.
