The importance of repeat business in shopfitting is a vital component for many reasons; the ability to build a healthy client relationship being the first.
When we were awarded our first project for Lacoste back in the summer of 2020 we knew that delivering a first class fit out would be the key to ensuring that the first step to creating that relationship was made. The client had a very tight budget as the store was a 12 month trial to gauge if the site in Portsmouth was a viable destination for their product. By delivering the project within budget and on-time and by accepting all responsibilities for the client such as dealing with the landlord, local authorities and nominated contractors we demonstrated our ability and willingness to nurture the relationship from the early stages.
Following the project we remained in contact with the client to ensure that any upcoming projects would involve Garenne and to that end we were awarded the first of their new outlet destination stores for 2021. The store is a completely new design and will be the first to open in the UK. We received excellent feedback from the client again following the success of this project, the relationship has now been cemented and we look forward to working with Lacoste for many years to come.
