The Jacks of London store in Clapham is the third which we have been involved with for our client and is now open for business.
The company was launched in 2014 by Sue Whitehead and was a new chapter in her business life having already built up a successful chain of Ladies salons. Sue's vision for a Men's hairdressing salon, to ultimately achieve the great success of the Ladies' business, was inspired by what Sue had seen as a fairly dismal experience for men in the London suburbs.
To start this process, Sue introduced up to date technology to help empower her talented staff which Jacks of London already employed.
The idea was to create an environment which always moves with the times and keeps one step ahead of the competition. Many of today’s barbers cater for the stereotypical young male with style and attitude. As well as catering for this generation Sue also wanted to encourage both younger and older males into the salons to enjoy the experience.
Introducing comfortable areas with internet access, a free beer available while you wait, screens showing live sports and even games consoles for those not quite ready to participate at the bar. Sue also holds regular events in the salons to promote new products and showcase locally based talented people to entertain the customers. Overall the business is a great example of what is possible with a bit of imagination and drive. We wish Sue all the best for the future and look forward to fitting out more salons.
