The chance to work with Hugo Boss came 'a bit out of the blue', but within a month or two of first introductions we found ourselves engaged on this concession project - within the Canterbury branch of Fenwick's Department store.
The project was externally managed by the London based architectural design team I.D.L., with whom we have worked previously; With their assistance the project was executed in a timely fashion and subsequently well received on hand-over by the client's team.
Hugo Boss have a planned forward workload for the next year or two and early indications are that Garenne Shopfitting will be involved. Currently we are engaged in the tender process for the proposed new Hugo, Stansted Airport store and a major phased re-fit of the existing Hugo in Leeds city centre and we are hopeful that one or both will be secured.
This is a great opportunity for us and given the current slight hesitation that we are seeing with a few of our more established clients - it couldn't have come at a better time. Hugo Boss have a substantial presence in the UK, particularly in central London, and so the potential for larger and more frequent refits as well as new stores is very exciting.
